Fundraising Ballroom Dancing Evening

On Saturday 25 April it was time to dust of the glitter ball and shine the dance shoes as Julie and Andy Stewart held their second evening of Ballroom and Sequence dance in St Peters Social Club, Gloucester in aid of the Gloucester Royal Hospital, Intensive Care Unit Charity. A great evening of dancing to all different types of music from Glenn Miller to Adele, was enjoyed by all.  Andy and Julie channelled their inner Vincent and Flavia by giving a performance of the argentine tango, complete with mood setting red lights a tale of lust and betrayal set to the iconic Moulin Rouge song El Tango de Roxanne set a very atmospheric performance.

The eyes and the feet satisfied it was time for the food for the soul with a wonderful ploughman’s supper consisting of 8 different cheeses, ham, pates, salad and five different breads. The evening was well supported with friends old and new and with the raffle raised a wonderful sum of £140.00.
